Preparing Full-Paper (Research Article) Manuscripts

A publishable paper should contain the following:

1. abstract (150-250 words, describing the research problem, the method, the basic findings, the conclusions, and the recommendations)

2. keywords

3. introduction (what is the problem?)

4. research method and/or theory used

5. if an application or experiment, a description of pool of subject, and how they were chosen;

6. analysis of research and how results impact theory and practice

7. conclusion

8. references

Originality

Submitted manuscripts must represent original work that has not been previously published. Manuscripts cannot be concurrently under consideration for publication in another journal. All authors must confirm that the work is their original contribution, and any reuse of previously published text, figures, or data must be properly cited and permission obtained where necessary. Plagiarism, self-plagiarism, and fabrication of research data are strictly prohibited.

Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.

An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper. When you’re satisfied that your submission meets this standard, please follow the checklist below to prepare your submission.

Manuscript Types & Requirements

The journal accepts the following manuscript types:

  • Original research: Full-length original empirical or theoretical research. Word count: 3000–8000 words.
  • Research Article: Original scholarly articles contributing new arguments, interpretations, or analyses within arts and humanities fields. Word count: 3000–8000 words.
  • Mini review: Concise, focused critical review of recent scholarship in a specific subfield.
  • Letter: Short commentary, observation or brief discussion relevant to the journal’s scope.
  • Case Report: In-depth qualitative case analysis for humanities and cultural studies inquiries.
  • Book Review: Critical scholarly evaluation of recently published books within our journal scope.
  • Society news: Announcements, academic event information and community updates.

Citation & Reference Format

All manuscripts must follow APA 7th edition formatting for in-text citations. Reference list rule: References are ordered in the sequence of their first appearance in the main text, NOT alphabetically by author surname. Every in-text citation must have a corresponding entry in the reference list, and every reference listed must be cited within the article.
